Surprise Mom!!!

So we started out the day like we always do. Get up, get breakfast, play until lunch time and eat lunch. After lunch I let the boys out of their high chairs to go play while I cleaned up a bit. I had taken their clothes off so they wouldn't get food all over them and when I was done cleaning I went to go look for the boys to put their clothes back on them. I walked into their room only to find that they had taken their diapers off and were playing in poop! Not only was it all over the floor, but all over the wall on a few toys and yes, all over them! Needless to say they got a bath a little earlier than scheduled! But wait, the fun didn't stop there! After their bath I put diapers on them and went to get some clothes before another little mishap. But I was too late. Kodiak had taken his diaper off yet again and had started peeing on the curtains in the living room! My night is going to be busy cleaning floors, curtains, and toys. I hope this potty training thing moves along quickly!

What? No pictures of the fun?!
I've got a cousin who was watching her grandchildren--twins--who did the very same thing! Maybe you need to go to the mountains and stay until they are potty trained. No curtains, no carpet, no walls...

Good luck!

OH man! I don't know how I'd handle that...I'm pretty squeamish. Maybe being a mom will stomp that out of me!

Oh, man! What a week for poop! And we can tell Cindy she'll get over the aversion to poop when she has kids. You have to. It's a part of daily life--especially w/ twins!! Poor Laura; hope they're miracle potty-trainers.

Potty training is a BLAST. Why do we do it, again? Sometimes changing diapers doesn't seem so bad, eh?

Cindy, you will be amazed at what you can handle when it's your own kids. Not that you LIKE it. Not that you don't want to puke, but you can deal with it. But when it's someone else's kid at your house, taking off her diaper, wiping her poopy bum all over the playroom carpet.. well, that you won't be able to handle.
